Modern masters such as Picasso and Dalí created jewelry as eyecatching—and collectible—as their canvases, and a new generation of artists is following in their footsteps with a host of wearable creations.

A recent article in Christie’s International Real Estate’s online magazine luxurydefined looks at the jewellery skills of famous artists such as Picasso or Dali, but also shows how contemporary artists such as Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst or Delfina Delettrez Fendi,  immortalise their own works on jewellery. Some of these gems have even found their way into art museums around the world, such as two of Delettrez Fendi’s gems in the Musée des Art Décoratifs in Paris.
