Is it the same for you? When you hear the word cruise, do you immediately think of huge ships far out at sea or in tourist-crowded ports, of extreme luxury, huge buffets, large crowds and long journeys across the sea? Now there is an alternative: a six-day cruise across Lakes Murten, Neuchâtel and Biel. The shipping company Vully AG has breathed new life into the disused cargo ship MS Attila; the name Attila stands for the beauty and strength of the region travelled through.

The MS Attila provided reliable service as a transport and cargo ship for many years. After being purchased by Reederei Vully AG, the boat received a radical facelift and now sails the three lakes in new splendour as the Boutique Boatel. It focuses on the beauty of the region, takes into account local businesses and regional products, and is also environmentally friendly thanks to a hybrid engine.

The Attila offers a pleasantly luxurious interior and first-class service. However, she avoids excessive luxury and instead shines with elegant, modern and cosy style. The rooms as well as the Captain’s Lounge and all outdoor areas are designed to make the guests happy during the cruise.

The MS Attila is a project close to the hearts of the initiators, who all live in and love the Three Lakes region. It stands for decelerated, environmentally conscious and contemporary travel.
