If you want to become a great tennis star like our national tennis hero Roger, you have to train a lot. Having your own tennis court helps – and a high level of motivation, of course. The international partner company of Wüst-und-Wüst, Christie’s International Real Estate, has just presented eight luxury properties with their own tennis court in its online magazine luxurydefined.

This glamorous house on the Côte d’Azur is set in a lawned garden with a pool, helipad and floodlit tennis court overlooking the Bay of Cannes.

For example, the Luxury Villa in Albufeira in Portugal, the very well-kept Tír na nÓg (Land of Youth) estate in Rathmichael, Ireland, the noteworthy Landscape Farm in Jersey, the 125-hectare Windward Farm estate in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, the idyllically situated Mediterranean Sea-View Villa in Mandelieu-la-Napule in France, the 23-acre Golf Front Luxury Estate with panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, the Desert Compound in Phoenix, Arizona, nestled in palm-fringed landscaped grounds at the foot of Camelback Mountain, and last but not least, Galleria Costa in Japan, an 8.5-acre oceanfront estate in Ashigarashimo-Gun. The multi-storey contemporary residence was designed in harmony with the sea.

Recreational facilities at this 125-acre country estate in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, include a regulation tennis court and indoor squash court, as well as a saltwater pool.

And one more thing: this summer, Christie’s is organising two unique auctions of the sporting memorabilia of tennis icon and 20-time Grand Slam record champion Roger Federer. On 23 June, Christie’s auctioned the Roger Federer Collection in London in aid of the RF Foundation; the proceeds were a staggering £1,329,375. The accompanying online sale from 23 June to 14 July features Federer’s career from the early 2000s to 2021.
