The Bad RagARTz 2021 is not to be missed. Until 31 October 2021, the spa town of Bad Ragaz and the idyllic mountain village of Valens will be transformed into a large sculpture exhibition.

The triennial open-air exhibition “Bad RagARTz” is known worldwide. This year, 83 artists from 16 countries are taking part in the exhibition. Together they are exhibiting 400 works of art – or a sober 2500 tonnes of art.

The sculptures in Bad Ragaz and Valens this year have the motto “Distance sharpens the gaze”. The idea came from the “Weltanschauungsmodell” by the artist Ottmar Hörl, who set up 50 figures in Graz in 2016 and kept changing their location in the city.

Famous thinkers such as Friedrich Hebbel, Goethe or Sigmund Freud have already dealt with the worldview. They were concerned with the question of how a person understands his or her existence in the world. A question that many of us have been asking ourselves more often in recent months.
