25 years of Giardina: Everything about gardens.
11.03.2026Giardina will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, transforming Messe Zürich into a green paradise from 11 to 15 March. With a record number of garden displays, an international star guest and a profound theme, this anniversary edition promises to be the most inspiring in its history. Take advantage of this opportunity to make valuable contacts, discover trends or simply find inspiration for your own green oasis.
The tree as the soul of the garden

This year’s exhibition focuses on the theme “The tree – the soul of the garden”. As a symbol of stability, sustainability and growth, the tree forms the emotional heart of garden culture. Giardina uses this motif to highlight the importance of long-lasting design elements and to show visitors how trees bring character and depth to their own outdoor spaces.
British design meets Swiss craftsmanship

A special highlight in this anniversary year is the collaboration with renowned British landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith. His exclusive garden design is being realised by Zurich-based NaturDesign AG. The project combines international design expertise with regional know-how: characterful solitary trees, artistic water features by Aqua AG and sculptural plantings merge to form a harmonious work of art.
More freedom for innovative garden designs

Giardina has undergone strategic development to further promote the creativity of exhibitors. By abolishing the price per square metre for show gardens, specialist companies and planners have more economic and creative freedom. The result is a record number of garden displays for the first time since 2018, which are bolder and more individual than ever before.
The most important platform for garden culture

Covering around 25,000 m², Giardina offers everything that garden lovers could wish for at the start of the season – from spectacular installations to the latest trends for balconies and terraces. As Europe’s highest-quality indoor event for garden living, it remains the central hub for networking, innovation and high-quality craftsmanship in the green industry.
